North Kelvin Meadow still under threat
Glasgow City Council have not backed down on their decision to take members of the North Kelvin Meadow campaign to court. I’m thoroughly appalled at this grossly disproportionate action and I am utterly amazed that our local authority desires, at doubtless great cost, to pursue legal action in Court in preference to discussing and resolving the matter calmly and rationally.
Please have a look at the web site, watch the video and sign the petition. And if you have time please email the Council to ask them to revisit their proposal to sell this land for development and instead to seriously consider the possibility of retaining this valuable green space for wider community use.
